You have (hopefully) already read some stories about the events in Aceh, Indonesia. In case you haven’t, here is what BBC has to say about it.
In order to help the people in Aceh you can sign a petition here. It’s easy, it’s safe and it won’t take longer than two minutes.
Red Tape Parade have a direct contact to someone in Aceh and have decided to collect records, shirts, zines and whatever and send them to Indonesia. We think that’s a great idea and will send a parcel, too. If you live in NRW and want to join us, just write a mail or call me. If you live somewhere else just write a mail to aceh_punx@gmx.de to find out what to do. Thank you!
Hey party people,
we just played our last show in 2011 and will slow down a bit now, at least for the rest of this year. It’s been a good year overall with lots of amazing episodes and some shitty ones. We did a tour and enjoyed it a lot. We released our first new record since 2008 and some people seemed to enjoy it a lot. We got bandtattoos and our parents seemed to enjoy that…not. We met some amazing bands and people that we wouldn’t want to miss. Ok, this totally reads like we’re breaking up so instead I will talk about our future plans now: we’ll release an album that we love. We’ll tour a lot, publish our first music video ever and keep on being awesome. Hope you’ll join us.
Talk to all of you soon!
